More and more people ask me how to get through and reach an operator at the U.S. embassies in Moscow and in Poland. So let's sort it out!
U.S. Embassy in Moscow
- Go to the embassy website, to the Contacts page https://www.ustraveldocs.com/ru_ru/ru-main-contactus.asp
- At the bottom of this page there is a button
- Then you will spend a long, tedious time listening to everything the automated system has to say, pressing the buttons in this order:
1 - for Russian
2 - for information about immigrant visas
2 - for information about immigrant visas (yes, the same thing again)
1 - for information about visa fees
7 - to reach an operator
U.S. Embassy in Poland
